Edit - coverage group not product. And not sharing bank bc my CB is very small headcount compared to IB
Hours?
Really varies some days/weeks 40-50. When super busy and at most 60-70 which is rare.
wait are there product groups in cb?
Yes… cash management, trade and working capital etc.
Your bank pays IB salary for CB associate? Thought it was 150 across the board
Don’t most banks pay same as IB till VP ?

What did they pay last year?
was told 10K for analysts
Congrats, more than RBC bankers made.

I can confirm at our BB salary base is 175/200/225. No numbers communicated yet, but will update you all once I hear. Expecting around 30% or so.
Can I DM you?
Sure, go for it.
How are your hours?
OK so it's safe to say that BMO/RBC Corporate Banking is underpaid.
I hear VPs there are under $200k salary, so BB associates are making more?
can confirm they pay horribly bad in all Canadian office locations - U.S. offices get a much better deal.
Do you happen to know numbers at the other Big 5’s other than RBC/BMO? Curious for rough numbers

$80k bonus
Mad my base doesn't touch BB
This website man. That is great pay for chill hours at freaking BMO.
BMO does not compete anywhere near the BBs in corporate banking in terms of volume / coverage names / and hours
there are IB associate 1 and 2’s that have similar or less comp this year. Go ask the Jefferies guys
$240k for low stress low hours? Mirin’
Lol @ you thinking this is chill hours. It's not.
is this in US or Canada? and what're your hours like?
Some data points on Wells Fargo base salary for CB.
An1 100k
An2 105k
An3 110k
As1 125k
As2 135k
As3 145k
.
Well below, especially at the associate level considering most other banks are paying $150k-$175k (higher end being BB’s) for As1
any idea of typical bonuses excluding 2022?
I know this is an old thread, but any idea what VP and ED look like?
Anyone got stats on Aussie salaries and bonuses?
BB CIB SA 2023, non NYC.
$40/hr for training + 1.5 OT. After that it’s 80k prorated. 2.5k sign on
Which BB?
The Epstein one
What’s OT?
Biggest takeaway I see from this thread is that corporate banks need to align base salary schedules for associates and up.
As1/As2/AS3 should be 175/200/225
at BB. Canadians and Japanese dont have the same coverage and likely have lower hours so I can understand lower comp.
Anyone know what Barclays CB analyst base is?
Anyone know how much deutsche cb pays for associate?
Nice comps numbers in this thread. What’s everybody’s hours like?
Light
Been a minimum 50 since I started. Usually 60-70 depending on the season and deals
Can anyone please share the salary figure for CB Associate at Citi? I am seeing mixed numbers on this platform.

Can anyone confirm if CB pay at Citi for ASO1/ASO2/ASO3 is 165/175/185, or is it same as IB 175/200/225?
A response will be greatly appreciated.
