Coverage Group Exits

How strong are exits for those in coverage groups at Citi/CS/BAML? They all have M&A groups, so not sure how much M&A these analysts are exposed to. This is also assuming normal Coverage Groups like C&R/HC/TMT. Additionally, how do these analysts position themselves vs their M&A counterparts for PE exits?

pretty much no difference - same access to headhunters and interviews

might impact ability to perform in interviews though due to different experiences - but also in chill coverage groups there's more time to prep for interviews
