Cowen 2021 Rep?

Interested in applying. Heard that they were able to take some market share over the course of 2020. How does Cowen compare currently to other comparable banks? Looking forward, can they maintain the momentum?

Incredible growth at Cowen in 2020 if you look at their earnings. Also are doing a good job of diversifying outside of healthcare which they've been ridiculously strong in only being challenged by bulges on that front (financings specifically). M&A looks to be expanding as well with some great hires and expanded revenue there. They've been on some pretty big deals in 2021 too so it's not hard to imagine that momentum will continue.

Obviously it's left to see whether their growth continues but I personally think they are a bank to watch going forward.
