This one crazy person I know wrote #BlackLivesMatter a few hundred times for a college essay (think HYP).

Personally know this guy. His “accomplishments” are pretty phenomenal for a high schooler and he is still working on those things now on an international scale. Search Ziad Ahmed on LinkedIn / google / Instagram. It’s pathetic to diminish other ppl’s achievements to make yourself feel better. Also he did the 100x blm thing only with Stanford, not other schools.

Sounds like he has done some very impressive things but hard to argue that the essay is not extremely odd / wacky.

Must be missing something - what exactly has he done that's so impressive?

Resume reads like a classic connected New Jersey kid. Right of passage non-profit creation (check), "hiring" friends with no work experience to work for said non-profit and for-profit gen z consulting company (check), congressional "internships" in hs (check), 2x legacy to Yale (check), dad who is a retired Wall Streeter that now runs a hedge fund (check).

Sounds like his "wokeness" was an edge for what would otherwise be an ordinary college application from a wealthy kid. Some kids just get a head start in life..

I'll take having one's head photoshopped onto a rower's body and pay millions to get into undergrad for 1000, please.

i saw a guy suck his own dick once. that was pretty crazy. not just tip-deep, mind - the whole thing. his face was beetroot red and his eyes were watering from the sheer force of it. it was impressive. i'd never seen a spine bend that, before or since. i must admit that i got rather caught up in the moment and cheered him on, along with the rest of the crowd that had gathered around him. can't say he looked like he was enjoying it though, especially once he started to cry. put something of a dampener on the occasion for all involved. he didn't stop though. true professional. i'm sorry - what were we talking about again?
