They are shit. Everyone from ANL to MD is upset (especially VP+ who have to deal with clawbacks for the next 3yrs)Bonuses at 50% of what Goldman paid in global markets / S&T
CS said it'll claw back previous years' bonuses if the division lost money (see below). Jefferies doesn't clawback based on profit/loss (it does so if you go to a competitor. In that case, the competitor will comp you for that lost amount anyways). Plus Jefferies is all cash vs. CS.
Absolute garbage bonuses, sub $100k for some first year associates. As2 and As3 I've heard are not consistent with the 200k/ 300k posted above, closer to 60% of those figures. Everyone is actively recruiting

250k for top performers associate 2
Any idea on analysts?
Are you serious? My ASO1 just received $95k. I thought Citi number was bad but apparently we are even worse.
Any color on group? Coverage/Product?
is 250k bonus or total comp
Numbers much lower in APAC - heard junior associates getting as little as US$40k
.
ASO1 NYC range seems to be 65-130 cash. You’re welcome you schadenfreude fiends.
Any idea on analysts
No idea, they’re are on a summer cycle. They seemed happier when it happened though.
Tmt at 175 + 180k
was aso1 all cash?
SF or NY?
CS posted a massive loss Q4, so I'll be expecting bonuses to be pretty shit. Worse than Citi probably.

ANL was not communicated yesterday so that you know. They are on summer cycle.
In global markets and SP they were. IB and ECM/DCM is summer. You are incorrect.
VP doesn’t have clawback and now 70% cash.
ER Senior Global Strategist Bonus: 13k
CS sucks
Ripperoni
The cash clawback for senior bankers is insane. No reason for people to stay at that firm
No different than Jefferies

Anyone quitting or mostly going to ride it out?
Seems like #s are okay though no?
Heard ASO2 & ASO3 got paid well. ~$200k all-cash bonus for top ASO2s & some ASO3s got north of $300k all-cash
Is this NY?
Yes.
