Credit Suisse vs. Merrill
for a summer analyst IBD position, which one would provide better experience, exit opps, etc.
i'm most interested in M&A, but if there are particular groups that are great in either bank, i'd be happy to join those as well

Credit Suisse is more stable.
Take for what you will.
Location?
NYC for both
Not sure if CS have a seperate M&A team but overall I would still go with CS. BofA/ML is so unstable at the moment (as was rightly said above) - defections, culture clashes etc.
Yes, CS has a separate M&A team and like all of them on the street they have great exit opps.
why would you go to MER with all the BS going on over there right now...atlesat if you get a full time job offer from CS you'll probably be sure to keep it a year from now.
DB poached 12 ML FIG bankers a few days ago. That's their best sector team gone.
Just my 2c.
what about throwing JPM into the mix?
keeping in mind this would be ideally for the M&A group at any of these banks
