My friend who used to work in the HL Cap Markets group said his team would offer a bonus of 10% of the gross fee to anyone in the company who introduced them to a deal (on top of their normal comp).
Can anybody confirm if that's true, or if you have seen similar incentives at other firms to generate business from people on different teams or mid/back office roles?
Trying to implement a similar policy at my firm to encourage mid/back office people to drum up opportunities through friends and family, and could use some comps to point to. Thanks!
