Crying everyday because of multiple staffings

Since last 3 weeks I've been given multiple staffings which is not the worst part. I'm now asked to cover other sectors as well like FIG, even though I'm just aligned with Consumers and TMT formally.

This annoys me even more that even though I had been doing so much, my bonus was still lesser than my colleagues.

I'm very close to confronting my VP about this. Is that the right idea or does it ruin relationship

Is that true?

I guess it is. He also told my another female colleague that there are soft aspects deciding the bonus and not just pure math. Haha I'm so shocked you guessed it

Ok haha. You just confirmed my suspicion. DEI Becky, it is time to earn your dime. I knew crying is your coping tactic to manipulate seniors. For a change, why don’t you pull your weight freeloader.

Those softer aspect he is referring to are DEI quotas which ensure your kind isn’t laid off or gets bottom bucket.

Since he offered you constructive criticism or isn’t favouring you, so now he is a misogynist. You belong to mental asylum and not IB

I would open up, not confront your VP. Just communicate and try to come up with a game plan. If that doesn’t help, then leave. Definitely isn’t worth crying everyday

Yep thanks. I communicated and he said team is crunched as so many people have left... I've started updating my CV
