CS FT 2023 SF

Anybody get offers already from CS SF in their tech group? I think they have already kicked interviews off and curious if anyone else has gotten any updates in their process.

Have all interview invites been sent out? And is your group a niche one like FIG? Curious how guys select candidates. Have heard the assessments matter and you need to reach a certain threshold to even be considered, but do you guys just look at resumes after that?

Would it still be worth it to do FT recruiting at CS FSG/M&A if I have an offer from a lower tier coverage group at BofA/Citi/Barc? Have a high preference for the technical nature of the work in sponsors/M&A but worried that CS's recent bad press and decline in reputation / deal flow would make it a very risky move that I might regret.

What do y'all think? The decision would probably be more obvious had this been 7 years ago, but since then CS has really been on a downward trajectory whereas BofA/Citi/Barc are much more stable platforms.

Have you gotten an interview for FT IB NYC for one of those groups? If your plan is 2 years and then out to PE, it could possibly be worth it. The negative press of CS is somewhat overrated. Most of that is focused on sales and trading I believe and not actual pure play IB.

Do you mind if I pm u for recruiter email? To answer your question, I'm pretty sure they haven't started yet for associates. Also make sure to hit reply button to my comment so it doesn't just end up as separate comments on the thread
