For what job? If you're an intern like your profile says, I highly doubt this applies to you. Never heard of a bank doing this for someone that'll only be there for a couple of months. 

If this is for full time staffers, then you find time to study like every other person does: after work, on the weekend, anytime you can.

There’s no way you work in IB. Never heard of a bank requiring series 7 for juniors. Apparently Moelis does but they are the exception

Re-read my comment, it looks like we're on the same page. I've bolded the relevant part to help you out. 

I'd also be careful using phrases like "there's no way", because investment banking is a big world with each firm having very different jobs and policies. I got my series 7 and 79 within around a year of joining for example, even though I'm not sure why the original poster is complaining about the series 7 since that's likely a non-issue for interns (which his profile indicates he is).
