Allen & Co is a top shop in tech, irrelevant in all other verticals.

I don't know about you, but I'd be really happy to get an offer anywhere just because it's what I want to do. Obviously this doesn't work very well for getting into PE/HF, but focusing on getting offers first and then worrying about rankings is probably the best way to go
