CV review + Q&A

Guys,

I have applied to a trillion job openings, IB-related, non-IB-related, FP&A, treasury roles, investment related roles etc with no luck unfortunately. I’m trying to figure out what’s wrong so that i can improve it. Dream is to break into IB at bulge brackets (GS, JPM, MS, Rotschild etc) in London/EMEA region, even US.

My educational background is based in Holland. My GPA is ~3.5/4.0 converted to American grade and 2:1 UK (7.1/10 Holland).

What do you guys do when nothing seems to work? I’m trying everything and am in the process of pursuing a CFA L1 charter in August/Nov 2025. Any tips and if you possibly can post my cv in you firm i would be eternally grateful. Any help is more than welcome and i’m looking for feedback. Thank you everybody for your time.

There is no such thing as a CFA L1 "charter." It is the CFA charter when you pass all 3 levels and have the required work experience. Just say hope to take the CFA L1 Exam.

Thanks for your reply. Besides that do you have any practical tips or you just go around trying to prove you know better than everybody?

Honestly the fucking nerve of interns these days:

1) Says "any tips appreciated"

2) Gives tips

3) Intern lashes out like the girl who wanted a 2nd dinner date when you said no

This is how interns are these days. They ask for advice, then criticize your advice. Get real bro.
