DA Davidson Tech Group

Does anyone have any insights on DA Davidson's Tech group, specifically in New York? Have an interview coming up and curious about comp, deal flow, culture, etc. Haven't seen much on here about their tech group and seems like a large portion of the work is in capital markets with a little M&A. Any insights or advice appreciated.

Middle of the pack LMM bank, generally their tech team seems to have ok deal flow for their size. We get some books and meetings from them and it’s a mix of quality and size. They acquired another LMM bank in the tech space and that seemed to cause some friction, our main point of contact left shortly after that.

Used to be known for its FIG team and think that’s where a majority of their resources still go. Industrials is typical LMM deals, sounds more hit and miss than other teams.

Source - work / old coworker was previously over there

Pay is good bit below market, but sounds like there may be some lateral or MM exits so might be a stepping stone (see linked forum below for more on this topic and pay)

Good luck
