Data table error
Trying to make a data table for a returns sensitivity analysis but the table keeps showing the same numbers in each column versus different values in each cell. Has anyone encountered this before and how did they fix it?

You’re not sensitizing a variable that has an impact - make sure both variables are linked up.
Also don’t use data tables if you can avoid it. Maybe you don’t do much calculation heavy work but if you start adding iterations then it’ll take forever to update your data tables.
Wouldn’t sensitizing the year naturally impact the IRR?
Is the model set up to support dynamic exit years (both in the calc of exit equity and IRR dates etc)?
What is the alternative?
Press f9?
Sounds like your column input is not feeding in the model. Make sure it's linked as an initial input and not flexing using a formula, just add a step and link it or even hardcode the step
^ this and also make sure the inputs you are flexing are on the same tab as your data table. If those don’t work then trace dependents on your variable and make sure they are flowing into the output
Well what was it?
You must’ve swapped the column and row input. In that case nothing sensitises
Did you enable “automatic” in the formulas tab?
Everyone here is probably wrong, you need to press save
I’m deadass
This is why MBA asos should not touch the model
