DB Clownery: Industrials MD thinks analysts should work for free
Friend of a friend works at DB Industrials and one of their MDs has vocalized that he believes analysts should work for free due to the quality of experience and deal exposure they are receiving. The DB clown show continues, while analysts work 100+ hours a week, the MDs wholeheartedly believe the meager analyst wages are infinitely too much.
We live in a society where labor wages are set by supply / demand.
If banks didn’t pay, everyone would flock to other industries that did pay.

I would tell the MD he should be willing to work for free too! Think of all the exposure and experience they get working directly with company boards and CEOs!
