Career Resources
You would probably do very well in the VP roles, especially considering you likely have connections to clients. As a heads up though, i’m fairly certain that team grinds at Citi if that’s something you care about. Don’t know much on fifth third. Sits about Top 40 on LTs. Would imagine it’s more chill but likely lower on comp.

How well do you know that team? I have no problem working hard, especially if it's something I enjoy... A few questions:
- Do you have a sense for the amount of hours they put in?
- Do you have a sense for what bonus % are at the VP level? at the D level?

Apologies on the delayed reply here. Haven’t worked directly in that group but have insight from people who are or have working directly there. Bonus wise, I think Citi shafted a lot of people last year (at least that’s what i recall). Far better brand name & recognition though at Citi to set you up for the next move if you were to be upset for the things I’ve mentioned.
Unless you have a family and young kids and really need a chiller lifestyle fifth third offers, I’d probably go Citi
For some additional context re Citi since I’m very familiar, the transportation team split half into more project finance / infrastructure banking and into ABS & F. This sounds like ABS & Financing, so it is not as sweaty as the other half of the team that moved into banking
