Dead-end Internship - what to do?
Rising junior with (thankfully) a '26 offer, albeit not at an amazing bank. This summer I'm working in govt consulting for healthcare services (wasn't able to get a finance internship) and I'm finding it incredibly boring. I have like 30 minutes of actual work a day and management is terribly incompetent. I'm remote too so it feels like I'm just sitting in my room doing nothing all day.
What are some productive things I can be doing to keep myself busy and prepare for my internship next summer? I've been reading up and watching a lot of videos on IB and cold calling local firms to see for this upcoming fall, but not sure what else I can be doing. Prep courses? Excel courses? Any recommendations would be much appreciated!
