Dealmaven: Am I wasting my time?

Here's my situation. Starting FT at a boutique in July and there will be no formal training. I have some experience with excel from using it for different classes but my overall modelling skills are almost nonexistant, especially from a valuation perspective. Also, I haven't used excel much in the last 6 mos. Is it worth my time and money to use Dealmaven over the next two months or so? Even if I don't learn much on the modelling end, I figure it may be worth it just to refamiliarize myself with excel and the financial statements. Thoughts?

...and I'm not looking to get the certification or any of that shit

Why the heck would that be a waste of your time? Deal maven takes 40 hours, and if you have four-five days to spare, that's all you need.

You can mention this on your resume. Generally speaking, the training provided by BB is TTS/deal maven, etc. anyways.
