Deals
WSO monkeys,
I know this has come up multiple times but where can you find the details/multiples for a deal that an MD may have worked on? When people discuss these deals in depth in interviews, do people just do in depth research of company and the industry or actually in depth about deal itself?
WSJ, Factset and Mergermarket are solid
If you're a student see if your school has access to any financial data platforms (i.e. Factset, CapIq, Bloomberg Terminal) they all will have pages that you can look up a specific deal and see rough implied multiples. Note that they will not necessarily be 100% correct but they will get you in teh ball park.
