Deloitte Corporate Finance 2021..

hi monkeys,

came across this firm but didn't see a lot of information on WSO for it. Can anyone speak to the culture/pay/exit opportunities in Charlotte vs LA office?

Was interested in recruiting for the FT analyst position.

Can't speak on the specifics of the US practice in terms of pay, etc. Echo what the previous poster mentioned - they acquired McColl who are in Charlotte.

The work will be similar to a LMM IB so the exit opportunities should also match, other than Deloitte having a stronger brand name generally.

A good option if you are interested in MM M&A.

In Europe the hours are less than in IB (but can still get quite intense during live deals), the remuneration reflects the lower hours. Exit opps are IB (across the spectrum - boutique, MM (most of the exit opps are here), EB, and BB (fewer, specific teams)), and LMM / MM PE and mid-sized corp dev roles. It attracts a mix of people - those who want to move onto IB or PE, but also those who want a more sustainable, longer term career.

Pay in the US is higher than in Europe, but I think deal sizes are smaller.
