Hi everyone,
I am a third year student at UK target applying for London SA positions. I've never written a CL for finance related job plus I am not English native speaker.
Would really appreciate some advice on how I could improve/redo it. Thanks in advance!

You need to be much more specific here. Why that bank in specific. Show interest in a non-general way.
Drop this line.
This internship sounds much more inline with banking and it might be better to mention what you do here. Be very specific and make sure to quantify your position and the accomplishments you had.
Sounds kind of lengthy and drags on, really try to emphasize your experience and why you would be a good fit.
Drop this line right here, it sounds really weird. Reword this and thank them for their time.
Thanks for your response!
How would you approach this? I've seen many posts on WSO suggesting to look into recent transactions, culture etc. On their culture page it literally says "global reach, collegial culture, great exposure to firm's business". Saying that "I was impressed by [big transaction they made] also doesn't sound too creative.
May be something like this then?

I would definitely advise to include much more detail on the bank in specific because it will show that you're not complacent and that you have genuine interest. Whether that's something specific about the culture or it's a recent deal they've worked on, it'll help you to be more specific to the bank.
Try and make this more quantitative and make sure it really sticks to IB in specific. Skills used in IB and especially the idea that you see a future in it yourself. This one is better but lacks the quantitative focus that would really help you standout.
Could you specify what do you refer to when you say 'quantitive' in this case, please? Is it how technical skills can be applied in IB environment and lead to, let's say, increased revenue? I just afraid I don't fully understand the concept of 'quantitive' in this context.
Your time and help is much appreciated!
