deteriorating eyesight -- what to do?
First year analyst here. After being glued to my screen for 90-100 hours a week for the past ~9 months, I can feel that I have developed shortsightedness. Subtitles when I'm watching Netflix shows from the couch seem blurry. I didn't have any problem with eyesight, have never worn glasses or lens. Are there any others experiencing this? What tips would you recommend? Also if I start wearing glasses, is there any going back or will this only slow the deterioration speed? F** this job really, has messed with my mental and physical health
Actually I’ve had the same issue. I’ve been hoping it fixes itself...
Just get a prescription for glasses/contacts lol. If you get the correct prescription, you have 20/20 vision again pretty simple. Also excessive screen use (at least as an adult not child) doesn't actually cause nearsightedness or worse vision, but you can definitely get eye strain and headaches
