Didnt Get Return Offer at BB
I interned at a BB this summer and didn't get a return offer. I feel pretty gutted after this and have never felt this disappointed before as I was 80% sure that I would get one after the feedback I received on my work. The BB says the pandemic played a big issue lowering headcount but half the interns still got offers so thats no excuse for me. I know that this is a major setback and am not sure how to proceed. Would love to hear thoughts on this

Take a day off to rest, but tomorrow call up / email everyone on your Rolodex. Explain your situation and I’m sure someone would be willing to help given the extraordinary circumstances. If you get an FT interviews you just say there was a headcount issue (no need to delve further unless specifically asked)
I would also potentially look down the pipeline to smaller firms. And don't be to hard on yourself. I know that is easier said than done, but staying positive and grinding will take you far.

no doubt this was jefferies. Keep grinding man. You have acheived what so many people work and fail at.
Jefferies isnt a BB, so it is Deutsche the only BB other than JPM which gave out less than 80% ish
