Didn't hear back from BB 10 days after Superday

I participated in a sophomore diversity program at a BB and was invited to an accelerated interview process for 2024 summer internship. Went through two interview rounds and finished final round with a MD last Wednesday, but never heard back from them since. I have friends who interviewed for a different office of the same company and got offer pretty fast afterwards, but I don't know anyone who heard back from the office that I interviewed for. I tried to follow up with the company by asking HR about my application status, but she said the banker is still reviewing my feedback and didn't explicitly say I was rejected. I'm very confused about this because I heard that investment banks usually send out offers & rejections pretty fast after Superday, so I don't know whether they are just really slow or have already filled their positions without telling me. But I cannot think of any reasons why they won't just send me rejection if it's the latter case. I wonder whether this has happened to anyone else and what should I do right now.

This is very common, unfortunately. They do send out offers quickly, but few banks actually reject candidates and usually just ghost.

There's a chance you are waitlisted, but realistically very few people are going to turn down or shop a BB sophomore offer. I would consider this a rejection. That said it's impressive to get this far as these sophomore processes are extremely competitive, so keep your head up and keep hunting for an offer

bro you got rejected. Move and keep applying. 1 week max is usually if they want you, only variable left is someone renegades the offer and you're the 1st one in line and that is if you're ranked 1st depending on if they form that structure or keep getting new Superday pools.
