Director level non analyst (not writing reports)?
Anyone familiar with director level positions t that focus on managing equity research teams and the capital markets side of the business? Still labeled as “director- equity research”.
Any idea on what comp could be like and typical exit ops? You just stay and work your way up the manager chain at a bank I guess?
Is it mostly focused on picking the direction of coverage/ conferences/ building out management access? Mostly focused on trying to onboard new buyside firms? (But wouldn’t that be sales traders/ more on the S&T side rather than “equity research”? Could this be a lucrative career or more of a dead end?
Don’t want to take a call for the position if I have no interest at all, so just trying to learn a bit. Obvs HR and recruiters can tell me more
