DJ BJ David Solomon Intentionally driving GS into the ground?

As the title states, I wonder if DJ BJ resents Goldman for rejecting him on 3 separate occasions prior to finally hiring him. I was wondering if you all think he just spites the firm now and is driving it into the ground as he continues to  harbor resentment?

The reputational harm this guy has done to the bank, from flying around like a king while analysts work 100 hour weeks, mass layoffs, and making racist remarks to students at Hamilton, etc., is irreversible.

Aside from that, GS continues to underperform relative to other banks. To insulate himself from getting fired, he appointed new board members who are his friends. It’s a one man show. DSOL is the worst.
