Do all corporate banking groups housed within IB do modelling?

I'm generally curious as to how much financial modelling you're actually doing in corporate banking - hear mixed things across the street, obviously all of us have to do stress-testing covenants for debt-loads but how deep do you guys go with your analysis?

Are regional banks (e.g. BB in Toronto office) going to be doing less financial modelling?

We do not go crazy deep into financial modelling, I'll say i build a model about twice a quarter and it should be the same across groups and honestly no one is going to ask you to build a three statement model. That doesn't even happen in IB

Thanks for the feedback. Does your bank separate PM/RM functions within your CB group? Who's responsible for what? Does origination offer a deeper and stronger learning and development experience?
