I’ve heard of BBs that pay portions of their bonuses as stock for senior employees, commonly referred to as “golden handcuffs”. I was wondering whether any EBs also paid their employees in stock. I know banks like Lazard and Evercore are public like many BBs but do they pay in stock too at senior levels?
