Do Investment Bankers Penny Pinch?
So the other day, I was out shopping. The lady in front of me at the register was complaining to the cashier because she thought one of her food items was supposed to be $0.05 cheaper. I've seen this kind of stuff all the time, people complain about such little amounts of money and will spend several minutes trying to save every penny they can. As finance professionals, how has money changed you in this regard? Are you guys this stingy or do you just not care about something that insignificant? I feel like it's pretty emasculating using coupons, etc. Let me know what you think.
Nah you don't really sweat the small stuff - it's more like decisions of "ahh I already spent a lot this month, think I'll stay in tonight" rather than "I'm getting the Corona because it's $3.50 versus the $4.00 Blue Moon"
Living life in nickel increments will kill you.
