Do you ever get to enjoy your life?
I understand that I-Bankers make a very decent amount of money, however, is the money worth it when you are working 80-100 hour weeks every single week? Where do you find time to spend it? When do you stop being a grunt and gain a work/life balance? How many years into the job before you experience 60 hour weeks?
Software Engineers make $100-125k while bankers make $200k... But software engineers get to enjoy their lives working 9-5 while bankers slave over excel...
I guess what I'm trying to say is "is it worth it?" Is all the money worth having a terrible work/life balance? Does it get better? I am naive so please don't throw the ms at me.
