Does all-in comp change by just the amount of the base increase or does it get a double bump up from bonus?
Effectively will bonus as a % of base remain constant or will it go down? Say you have a bank who pays AN1 85k and 100% bonus for the last few years, and they’ve increased base to 100k for this next year. Will bonus track and be 100k as well or stay at 85k as it was prior?
Interesting thought as effectively any base increase would be a double whammy if bonus as a % of base stayed the same as prior years.
Also, what banks haven’t increased base yet?
