Does BAML drug test for FT?
Yes, I am playing it safe - but I’m just curious if they do or not. They have not indicated that it is part of their background check.

Have they not sent out any onboarding material yet?
At another BB and have not received any onboarding info yet
Any updates? Which BB are you with?
They have, and there has been no indication of a drug test. However, I understand that if they do test, that’s probably not something they’re going to put in big red letters on their onboarding materials. My fear is that I pass the background check, fingerprinting, and all that, and then out of nowhere they go ok now go take a drug test (no I don’t do hard drugs, but the green stuff helped a lot with work stress in my previous IB seat).
Did you intern at BAML last summer? Also I'm not sure why they wouldn't just say take the test in the onboarding materials. If they were going to "get" people, they would just say you have 1 week or 2 weeks to get it done - assuming they do want to test. Also are you in NYC?
Anyone with news here?
The only people that would know would be recent lateral hires within the past few months... Highly doubt they would respond
not BAML - but another BB, had finger print scan, but not drug test
incoming ft or lateral?
incoming ft
All banks fingerprint. It is required by FINRA.
Ft here that just during summer. They didnt dont think they will. Not standard practice anymore. Also, I believe there was a new drug law passed last summer.
Thanks for the context! Can you clarify, are you already full time or incoming full time? And you haven’t heard of any of your friends getting tested either?
Bump
Wondering same - anyone?
