Does dismissed charge record but no conviction and not related to dishonesty charges affect employment at GS?

I had a non-violent, non-monetary set of charges that were dropped and I have been hired by 2 BBs. I’d just be prepared to provide a formal disposition and other relevant documentation. This will likely be available from the court’s (almost certainly clunky) website, but you may be required to share a notarized copy which can take time for them to process. Exploring the court’s website, and potentially speaking with a representative, would be the only steps I’d consider doing ahead of time.
If given the option to disclose prior to a background investigation I would recommend doing so as you will likely save yourself time and stress; I do not see any advantage in attempting to hide the situation.
