No clue about IB but business class/1st class seems to be the norm for most PE employees I know (of course certain firms have their own private planes).

I think MBB gives the same business class/1st class if your flight is a certain length but not under it. I may be wrong but I used to hear almost every flight was guaranteed business class or better back in the day.

BB - analysts fly coach to training. Pretty strict rules on flights, it's something like MDs can book first if flight is 3+ hours, analysts can book first if flight is 6+ hours. Forget the exact policy.

Realistically, you won't be flying on the company dime at all as an analyst, except to training. I've never known any analyst who has traveled, although I'm sure some people will have anecdotes about it, it's not common
