WFH Fridays, some people tend to transition home 7-8PM but depends on group.

Some groups also have WFH part of August and there are flexible WFH days you can take in addition to PTO

I said 4-5 days, but 5 is not some crazy outlier anymore like it was 6-12 months ago. Maybe publicly / at a firm level they still tout flexibility, but I know of many IB groups that are unofficially back to 5 days even if the firm has a more relaxed policy. Source: tenured NYC ASO with lots of industry friends who are mostly 4-5 days in office.

With all of the layoffs happening people just aren't going to risk being the one guy holding out if everyone else shows up everyday

Realistically don’t see much value add of juniors staying in the office much later than when directors / VPs leave.

I work at a boutique and can WFH pretty much whenever I want to. That being said, I usually end up going in most days (but leave at a reasonable hour to finish work at home in the evening) bc it's more efficient for talking to co-workers but no one really cares either way.

WFH one day a week.

Most junior bankers not on deals leave by ~7pm and finish working from home.

I believe this helps reset you and allows a strong second push later in the evening when your brain starts to scramble.
