Double up on Tech or diversify experience?

This summer I interned at a pretty legit tech-focused boutique. This fall I've gotten a couple of offers, one from a firm that’s also focused entirely on tech and another that’s completely generalist. The tech one seems a bit more well-known, but what do I know, and is in SF. The generalist is a little less visible online and is on the East Coast.

I do think I’m going to focus on tech recruiting so I was leaning toward the SF offer, but I’m a little worried I might pigeonhole myself in case I want to recruit for another group or just for the future in general.

Anyone have strong feelings on whether to double up with a second tech-focused bank or to diversify and go with the generalist? Also, the tech one would be the typical fall cycle, while the generalist would be fall and winter, so it’s a bigger commitment and maybe looks more legit, but I’m not sure.

Which fall internship?
