Downloading Music

Yo,

Since Limewire and all the other P2P sharing programs are starting to suck, I need a new way to download music. I import it to iTunes for my iPod. I've been through Ares, Limewire, Frostwire, etc and they all end up being worthless.

I refuse to go out and pay for a whole CD when I want one track.

I was wondering how you guys access music? Can anyone recommend different software? Torrents?

I don't want to have to pay for it and I need to be able to get it into iTunes.

Bribe - Silver bananas to those with legit suggestions.

 1. Download some torrent software, they are all pretty much the same. I use vuze but its not the greatest
 2. Download torrents from sites like piratebay.org
 3. ???
 4. profit

Alternatively, a lot of the time you can google something like "Radiohead ok computer download" or "radiohead ok computer megaupload" and find some direct download links
If you don't want to do either of the above, you can convert youtube videos to mp3s through sites like this: http://www.youtube-mp3.org/
Glad to know someone else does this on a regular basis. I thought I was the only one.

I'm surprised you made it this far without getting caught. I thought Limewire got shut down ages ago too.

 1. Torrents
 2. Youtube to mp3 (youtube your favorite song and then google youtube to mp3)
 3. mediafire (google search your favorite song with mediafire at the end)
 4. Grooveshark.com - Great site to stream music if you have an internet connection EDIT: Btw downloading in general is probably one of the things you want to keep on top of. Last thing you need is a fine because you got caught downloading the next brittney spears song :X.

I remember the days when Limewire pro could be downloaded on Limewire. Now I just use demonoid with utorrent though.

There's tons of ways. If you don't want to torrent, or if the mediafire extension isn't working, try like hotfile, megaupload, filestube, etc. Most new albums you can get easily provided you search for them when they come out. For old stuff, you'd prolly need access to a private music torrent tracker like what.
