Drug testing AFTER initial pre-employment drug test

Ok so what are banks typical policies on drug testing after the initial pre employment drug test? I know from experience last summer that they do have a random drug testing clause in their employment handbook, but do banks actually follow through with that? For example, should I expect to get tested again in a few weeks when full-time training starts (even though the pre employment test was taken just a few weeks ago)? Anything you guys have to add would be helpful. Thanks.

It's probably gonna very hugely by company. If you have friends in the company, I'd discretely ask them. Some companies probably do, some just keep that in the handbook in case you show up reeking and they wanna test you. If you're really concerned, this isn't the funnest solution, but don't do drugs.

If you already pissed clean the other week then spending a few days in Amsterdam won't do anything that a day or two in the gym/sauna can't fix if you're really worried about it.

Make sure you passed and smoke to your hearts desire in the Dam. Even if you get retested and it's more than a week or so after you return you should be clean. It's up to 30 days and that tends to be if you're a heavy smoker. If you're doing a weekend there and are clean now and don't after, you're fine.

It reminds me of my first job out of school. After the my boss gave me the offer (repe shop, HR didn't extend offers, your boss did) I asked what I needed to do: background tests, etc. and when I said drug test he just looked confused and said "well I suppose we don't encourage drugs but there's no test." I knew right then I picked the right place. Gotta love San Fran.
