I got an SA offer with a December graduation date, no info on what a FT start would look like though.

Would be curious to know if they have off-cycle start training the same as on-cycle, I.e. if I start in January after my internship, but rest of my class starts in June, do I still get same training right off the bat, or do I hit the desk and do training when rest of my class joins?

They probably do (I know one person who graduated early and started early). However, why in the world would anyone do this? You have your entire life to work and the pay as an analyst is tiny in comparison to what you make a few years into your career if you stay in finance. Starting early is unlikely to help your career and I can’t imagine it putting you in a better position for recruiting. Additionally, analyst bonuses are on a standardized cycle, so you much just get a crappy stub bonus (if anything) for your extra six months. I would keep quiet about graduating early. Spend time with family, spend time with friends, travel the world, take a risk, commit yourself to a hobby, etc... As you can see from all the posts on this forum, IB is an absolutely miserable job and the hours are pretty rough right now (and they were tough before also). Spend some of your free time preparing for PE interviews if anything, and you’ll be in a great position when you start over the summer.

Not everyone has the privilege to do this. Some need to use the bonus $ to pay student loans and have the financial need to start earning a paycheck asap.

Work for one of the smaller platforms not mentioned in OP but in same group. I can almost guarantee if you reach out and say "would I be able to start early" they would be up to work out something with you. Everyone needs more people right now, and you're someone they don't even need to put through the interview process! Who knows, could just be because we're smaller with less bureaucracy but I feel confident in saying it.
