EB pays 240K An1

Is 240K the new norm of EBs compensation for Analyst 1, after the recent bump in base. Given that, most EBs now pay 110K as base? Did bonuses stand at their previous levels of around 100% of base, or did they decrease?

The fact that number is actually within the realm of possibility and not laughably impossible is mind blowing. That’s all.

Why do banks get paid more than big 4 firms when they essentially do the same work?? Is accounting really that different from m&a, it's all under finance..
