I can chime in a little on PWP since I have a few friends there and hopefully others who actually work there can chime in. IIRC I was told by my friends that a good % of the NYC class does not participate in on-cycle to begin with. In addition to that I think street wide PWP probably has a higher A2A rate than most other EB and BBs. At the end of the day many of us realize that we don't need to keep chasing the rat race. When there's clear salary progression as well as good working culture, some people really decide to stay. You can look up the exits yourself but I think that they have some pretty strong exits (CD&R, IVP, Apollo, BX, Carlyle, Sumeru, Permira, GTCR).

I think Moelis' exits are honestly very good. I'm not sure what you're talking about there. I have not seen someone do the full 2 years as an analyst and stay as an associate either.
