EBIT vs. Operating Expenses

= Gross Profit
-- SG&A (Operating Expenses)
= Operating Profit
To my knowledge, subtracting Non-Operating Expenses/Income from Operating Profit would eventually yield EBIT. However, aren't Interest Expenses/Income already included in Non-Operating Expenses?
