EBs compensation London 2021
Hi Monkeys,
There is plenty of reports on Analysts and Associates compensation at BBs in London (for example the ones published by Arkesden Partners, Dartmouth), but there is lack of information on compensation of Analysts at London's EBs (Centerview, PJT, PWP, Evercore, LAZ, Moelis).
Do you have any data points for A1, A2 and A3 at these places? What is the base and what is the mean bonus? (heard about maximum bonuses of 100%, but wondering what is the average?)
I am trying to compare the net income in the first 3 years at EB vs BB, acknowledging that:
- EBs are likely to pay more than American BBs (which pay more than European BBs)
- EBs have 3 year Analyst programs compared to some of BBs, which introduced Associate 0 position
- Living close to Mayfair is more expensive than living in CW (if one wants to live close to the office)

Some London EBs pay up to £110k at the Analyst level like PJT. However, BBs usually provide better exit ops especially if you get into the better groups. Hours at EBs can also be worse due to lack of india back office for presentations/research. So it’s a trade off you have to make.
Well, for the London office, we can rely on the US presentations formatting group when the London team is off - think they're 10x better than the guys in india.
Same for research.
