ECM to Coverage – Interview help

I’m currently a summer intern in ECM at a bulge bracket from a top Ivy. I’ve managed to arrange a few coffee chats with folks in coverage at my current bank and other banks to discuss lateraling into a coverage group for full-time.

What types of questions should I be prepared for? And what are some strong reasons for moving from ECM to coverage - obviously other than better PE exits and more financial modeling?

Thanks for the help!
