Hi I have interviewed for IBD BB before but not ECM. Does anyone know how an ECM interview would be compared to an IBD one? Do I need to know different/certain things? Any tips/advice on questions would be very helpful!

very similar if not exactly the same, because technically ECM is a subdivision of the IBD.
Agree with above. Think more markets based inquiries though. Technicals should be lighter, I'd imagine more behavioral and a test of curiosity.

I had an ECM interview last week. I got asked about raising capital (debt vs equity), lots of questions about the markets and how you follow them, stock vs cash based transactions advantages and disadvantages of each.
Basically prep for markets questions as well as a bit of macro-economics stuff.
