Electric skateboard for commuting

I will be starting as a FT analyst at a BB in the West Coast and was wondering what do you guys think about skateboarding to the office. I bought a Boosted Board three years ago and I'm going to live very close to the office (~15 min walk). I plan to get a car later on but in the mean time I want to use my electric skateboard to commute. Would this be unprofessional? Where could I leave my board while in the office?

It’s really great until you hit a stop rock and eat shit tearing a hole in the pants. Speak from experience. If you’ve got enough to go around you’re fine.. but odds are high eventually you’ll kiss the pavement

My dad is a doctor and loves to surf, he used to always hide his boards inside his car (instead of the roof) when he went to the hospital because he didn't want people thinking he was a surfer bro...in SF you'd probably be fine bringing it into the building, though some people will definitely think "who is this tool on the electric skateboard."

One of the things employees ask for is a hassle-free commute to work with no traffic. With my electric skateboard for commuting, increase my chances of making it to my office desk on time and without stressing over a busy road. These vehicles are also a fun option for commuting. Just be sure my skateboard’s components are weatherproof, so they’re fit for dry and rainy seasons. :)
