Whilst that is correct in terms of difficulty to land I don't think it makes much sense to compare PE to IBD, the two are very different industries after all

Is this a joke, there are several former GS bankers at CVP at each level, including from the recent intern class, meanwhile you’ll never find someone leave CVP for another bank.
I personally also know two people who turned down GS offers for Centerview this cycle.

What was this post trying to accomplish? What does “prestige data” even mean? And if you’re ranking by “exit opps,” why is GS SSG (which is the exit opp) in a tier with IB players? And why are PJT, EVR, and HL RX just scattered around on this list when they’re probably the most similar in terms of exit opportunities and analyst experience?
