Engaged and going into FT

Hi everyone - I’ve been dating my boyfriend since Highschool and we recently have gotten engaged. Since I’m starting as a FT analyst soon I was wondering if there’s anyone out there that has had a similar experience? If so, do you have any tips for surviving your FT stint and coming out the other end still together? Any help for advice would be appreciated. I really want this to work.

Why'd you say yes if you don't have confidence in the relationship lol? It seems like you are looking for someone to tell you that it will be fine, but judging by your question, you already know that you have a difficult road ahead.

You have to decide what's important. If you are already going in with apprehensions, that's not really a great start. You and your bf need to be on the same page. It's fair of you to want to pursue this opportunity, but it's also fair of him to be upset when you're never home/canceling plans/can't do anything. If you truly care about your relationship, you might be better off doing something else. It's easier to decide that now after irreparable damage has been done.
