Entry level positions in banking

I am looking for an entry level position in banking, I have no banking experience, just a year dealing with PPI complaints. I also went to a non--Russell university. I was thinking about applying for compliance positions but should I get a relevant qualification before applying? Also I have heard of positions like CDO, are these entry positions? Also why I am here, do you think London will still be a financial hub now we have left Europe.

I'll bite-- the vast majority of entry level positions at banks are going to be "xxx analyst." Analyst is generally shorthand for entry level although there are exceptions especially in equity research.

I think London has peaked and will not be a major finance hub within a few years-- just look at European share trading volume, Amsterdam already handles higher volume than London post January Brexit enactment.
