Europe 2021 Investment Banking Rankings
A few of us (friends) got together (mostly analysts in various investment banks) and came up with the below investment banking ranking - indicates how we would prioritise banks if we had multiple offers. This is based on the desirability of each bank (I guess a combination of prestige, deal flow, learning, and exit opportunities) in Europe (London and Paris offices). Curious to hear your thoughts/changes and additions!

4. Lazard, Rothschild
6. Citi
8. Moelis, Centerview
9. Deutsche Bank, UBS
Bruh, BOA Merrill is Number 1 of course. Why isn’t it on the list!
A European list dominated by US banks. Get it together, Europe smh.
The main reason is because American banks pay more. Exits between American banks and EU ones don't meaningfully differ in Europe
Are you aware of the deals Evercore usually does in EMEA?
Glad to see London back in the EU, although it's sad to hear Frankfurt is gone

Mazars Transaction Services Leeds Office should be up there somewhere, I'd say just above Goldman Stanley
Well, including Lazard, Rothschild and Evercore ahead of Citi/CS sounds off in London
This would be different in Paris, where you could include Laz on the 2nd tier
EDIT: Moelis at the same level of centerview? lol
Seems to be heavily influenced from the U.S. 'rankings'. I will never understand the obsession with Evercore in London (aside from the pay).
This looks more like a troll post, rather than a US oriented one
How's Jefferies in Europe / UK ?
In Paris, Lazard and Rothschild easily in line with GS on the top.,,
So overall Europe more like:

2. MS, Rothschild, Lazard
3. JPM, Evercore
4. BAML
5. Citi
6. Barclays
7. Credit Suisse, UBS, Deutsche, Centerview
London Ranking:
1.) GS
2.) MS
3.) JP
4.) Laz/PJT/BofA
5.) RTH/EVC/CITI/CS/PWP
6.) Barclays/UBS/Moelis/DB/Centerview
7.) The Rest
Evercore is best EB in London above Laz and Rth. PJT>Evercore>Laz>PWP>Moelis>RTH
Swap PWP with Barclays..also UBS is getting quite decent in a few sectors (Industrials, FIG, TMT)
Houlihan Lokey ROFL...shop exists for RX only in EU. After that consumer is "strong" which is mostly small/mid cap private F&B sellsides... shouldn't be on the list
